Coinbase is being sued for false sweepstakes advertising.

Coinbase Global, Inc. (“Coinbase”) and Marden-Kane, Inc. (“MKI”) (collectively the “Plaintiffs”) have been sued in a class action complaint for allegedly engaging in false, fraudulent, and misleading sweepstakes advertising. MKI was engaged by Coinbase, one of the largest online cryptocurrency exchanges, to create, advertise, and execute a $1.2 million “Dogecoin Sweepstakes” that will run from June 3, 2021 through June 3, 2022.
